The Pigeon International Film Festival (PIFF) er alþjóðleg kvikmyndahátíð með myndum sem ætlað er endurspegla menningu og tungumál þjóða.
Hátíðin í ár verður á Ísafirði og í Bolungarvík frá 14.-17. október 2021. Á hverju ári er tekið fyrir eitt land, og í ár eru myndir frá Póllandi í fókus.
Eftirfarandi myndir verða sýndar kl. 18:00 laugardaginn 16. október 2021 í Félagsheimili Bolungarvíkur. Frítt er á sýninguna. Myndirnar eru á pólsku með enskum texta.

Maria is dead, but she is alive. She committed suicide but remains in her living body for some days. How did she kill herself? She’s looking for cause, observes the world without her. Preparations for the funeral, autopsy, disinfection in flat in progress. She’s invited to a party for the dead ones. Family is disgust that she’s alive since she died.

Eight-year-old Tomek is up the creek without a paddle. His mother’s in hospital, his elder brother nicks phones and his father’s on the verge of a nervous breakdown. As if all that isn’t enough, a monster has made itself at home in his wardrobe. And not any old monster, either. This monster is menacing, mysterious and really rather greedy.
